Habitar o Imaginário
"Habitar o Imaginário" is the result of a cooperative, participatory, and interactive process between the artists Adrianne Gallinari, Nado Hohrmann, and Rebecca Gallinaro. The exhibition proposes a dialogue between form, movement, and painting, inviting the viewer to reflect on their relationship with the space they inhabit—or dream of inhabiting.
To give the environment a sense of sound, I worked with the notions of silence and movement: by observing the colors and objects in the exhibition, I composed two pieces inspired by the works of Erik Satie and John Cage.
In the first piece, Pantins, the use of string instruments, woodwinds, and percussion aimed to evoke associations with the material used to make the Pantins—wood—and the sound it makes when the object comes into motion.
In Livros (Books), I chose instruments like the piano and marimba to bring more fluidity and lightness, echoing the movement of pages being opened and closed
